Apna Health Seva Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to improving healthcare access and outcomes for underserved and vulnerable communities. We believe care should be defined by what every person needs — not by what they can afford or how far they have to travel.
Across many communities, people continue to face significant barriers to care — lack of insurance, cost, transportation challenges, language barriers, limited access to primary or specialty care, health literacy gaps, and shortages of trusted healthcare professionals. These barriers delay treatment, worsen outcomes, and deepen health disparities.
Apna Health Seva Foundation was created to help close those gaps. We work to bring compassionate, high-quality healthcare closer to the people who need it most, while investing in the next generation of healthcare professionals who will carry forward a lifelong commitment to service.

Underserved communities do not deserve second-tier care. They deserve care delivered with dignity, attention, cultural understanding, and a commitment to better outcomes.

Our work focuses on practical, community-centered solutions that address both immediate healthcare needs and the long-term gaps in the system. Everything we do is built around four core priorities.
Expanding Access to Care
We support initiatives that reduce barriers and connect underserved communities to timely, appropriate, and trusted healthcare services — including community health events, preventive screenings, mobile and pop-up care models, care navigation, chronic disease education, referral support, and partnerships with clinics, hospitals, schools, faith-based organizations, and community groups.

Access alone is not enough. The quality of care matters. We support healthcare that is compassionate, patient-centered, culturally aware, and rooted in respect. Every patient should feel seen, heard, and valued — and care should treat the whole person, not just the condition.
